It does not provide financial, investment, or trading advice, does not execute trades, and is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, or commodity trading advisor. Backtested and simulated results are hypothetical and do not guarantee future performance. Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and PropLens ("PropLens," "we," "us," "our") governing your access to and use of the PropLens website, application, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
PropLens is a software tool for backtesting and analyzing trading strategies against historical and simulated market data, running statistical stress tests (including Monte Carlo simulation and walk-forward analysis), and estimating the cost and probability of passing evaluations offered by third-party proprietary trading firms ("prop firms").

Hypothetical performance has inherent limitations and does not reflect actual trading, the impact of real-time decision-making, or real market liquidity and slippage. Past performance — actual or simulated — is not indicative of future results. References to specific prop firms are for identification purposes only; PropLens is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any prop firm named in the Service, and firm rules, fees, and presets shown in the Service are approximations that may not reflect the current terms of any firm — always confirm directly with the firm before making a decision.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly at support@prop-lens.app if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
PropLens offers a free plan and paid subscription plans ("Pro" and "Pro + Research") billed monthly in advance. Paid subscriptions are billed and processed through Stripe, our payment processor; PropLens, not Stripe, is the seller of record for your subscription. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's own terms governing the payment transaction.
Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you retain access to paid features until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods. We may change subscription prices with reasonable advance notice; continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

PropLens and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, and content, excluding data you input. You retain ownership of the strategy configurations, notes, and other data you input into the Service. You grant us a limited license to process that data solely to provide and improve the Service to you. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
The Service uses third-party providers, including Anthropic (for AI-powered features such as strategy translation, research, and the help assistant), Stripe (for payment processing), Dukascopy and, optionally, Databento (for market data), and hosting/infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or acts of these third parties, though we select and configure them with care. AI-generated output (translations, research summaries, generated code, chat responses) may contain errors and should be reviewed before you rely on it.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any data, calculation, simulation, or AI-generated content will be accurate or complete.
Trading and investing in futures and other financial instruments involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. Nothing in the Service constitutes a recommendation or solicitation to trade. Prop-firm evaluation outcomes described or simulated by the Service (including pass probabilities, expected costs, and expected timelines) are statistical estimates based on historical data and modeling assumptions — they are not predictions or guarantees of any actual outcome. You are solely responsible for evaluating any strategy, prop-firm evaluation, or trading decision, and for any losses that result.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PropLens and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or trading losses of any kind, arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold PropLens harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your trading or investment decisions, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting support@prop-lens.app. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, and 15) will survive.
We may modify or discontinue features of the Service, and we may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Before filing a claim, you agree to first contact us at support@prop-lens.app so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and PropLens regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
