PropLens never connects to, requests, or stores your brokerage account credentials or live trading account data. All analysis runs on historical market data, simulated data, or data you explicitly upload.
This Privacy Policy explains what information PropLens ("we," "us," "our") collects when you use our website and application (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.

Certain features (plain-English strategy translation, AI-generated research, Pine Script export, the help assistant) send relevant inputs — such as your strategy description, a generated summary of your strategy's rules, or your question — to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a response. This is necessary for those features to work. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy practices; PropLens does not control Anthropic's systems. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information unrelated to your trading strategy into these features.
PropLens does not integrate with, request credentials for, or access any brokerage or exchange account. Everything in the Service — backtests, Monte Carlo simulations, walk-forward analysis, and the replay trainer — runs on historical market data we source (e.g. from Dukascopy), data from an optional third-party feed you configure yourself (e.g. Databento), or data you upload directly. We never see or touch your real trading account.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (email support@prop-lens.app to request this), we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or accounting purposes (for example, transaction records we or Stripe retain for tax and accounting purposes).
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact support@prop-lens.app — we will respond within a reasonable time and verify your identity before making changes.
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including salted PBKDF2 password hashing, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and access controls that isolate each account's data from every other account. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
PropLens is operated from, and your information is processed and stored in, the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect.
